Purpose of the work is to prepare and develop initial data for implementation of the project for land allotment for uranium ore processing waste storage facility. The tasks of the work are as follows: - topographical information collection and analysis for the area where the uranium ore processing storage facil-ity to be located; - geological structure and hydrogeological condition information collection and analysis for the area where the uranium ore processing storage facil-ity to be located; - determination of the economic use of the area, qualitative com-position of the soil; - collection of the data on objects of the natural-and-protected areas and monuments of the history and culture in the area where the uranium ore processing storage facility to be located; - collection and analysis of the data on the condition of the surface water bodies (rivers, ponds, springs); - development of technical decisions on preparation of the area for the waste storing and transporting and the territory remediation; - calculation of the area of the lot lands providing placing of the transporting and uranium ore processing complexes including the control area. On the basis of the territory inspection, existent departmental materi-als, there were given: description of the environmental conditions of the area where the storage facility to be built, geological structure, qualitative composition of the soil and its economic use, agricultural soil-chemistry description of the lands, hy-drogeological conditions of the area. The uranium ore processing waste storage fa-cility and the waste immobilization complex were described; substantiation of the areas of the land allotments was executed; substantiation of the necessity of fertile soil layers removal during the construction was developed.
