In these experiments it is shown that epileptogenic excitation threshold decreases significantly in case of traumatic brain damage that proved by picrotoxin kindling accelerated formation. In the conditions of the used chronic epilepsy models carbamazepine and valproic acid revealed their anticonvulsive effects.
