Purpose: Conducting of scientific research and analysis of the current Ukrainian legislation and international legislation in the field of physical protection of nuclear installations and nuclear materials, as well as security and anti-terrorist protection of objects the fuel and energy complex. Methods of research: determination of a list of normative documents in the field of physical protection of nuclear installations and nuclear materials; determination of a list of normative documents in the field of security and anti-terrorist protection of objects the fuel and energy complex; analysis of the requirements of international documents relatively the physical protection of nuclear installations and nuclear materials; analysis of the requirements of international documents relatively the security and anti-terrorist protection of objects the fuel and energy complex; analysis conforming to domestic legislative acts and normative-legal acts the requirements of international documents; preparation of proposals and draft changes to the legislative acts in the above-mentioned field of physical protection of nuclear installations and nuclear materials, as well as security and anti-terrorist protection of objects the fuel and energy complex; development of interim and final reports. Field of application: improving the existing sectoral legal and regulatory framework and training of new normative-legal acts, which will enable a qualitatively improve the level of the organization's physical security and antiterrorist activities in radiation-nuclear objects of the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine.
