It was shown that monohalogen substituted arenes undergo dehalogenation in milder conditions than polyhalogen derivatives. The catalysts obtained have higher level of catalytic activity in the dehalogenation reaction of halogenarenes than the known analogues.Further continuation work may provide data to develop the technology of production of liquid biofuels.
