As a result of independent research results obtained, characterized by the following elements of novelty: the first time: - Economic essence of the price mechanism of increasing the competitiveness of agriculture, the basis of which is a range of activities designed to meet the needs of all its branches in a competitive environment through the development and implementation of activities linked to associated with increased efficiency of agricultural production - a system of measures of adaptation of foreign experience in increasing the competitiveness of the agricultural sector based on its innovation and investment security, which will optimize the use of qualitative characteristics of the agricultural market, improved: - Organizational and economic mechanisms to stimulate research and technology in agriculture, which will reduce production costs and, on this basis, to increase its competitiveness; - the essence of the category "competitiveness" which is to be considered as a system of interconnected characteristics, that allow you to provide a sufficient level of competitive advantage and efficiently adapt to environmental changes, has been subsequently developed: - the system of interaction and coordination of state and sub 'entrepreneurial activities to enhance the functioning of the mechanism of price competitiveness of agriculture in Ukraine. During the research methods used in logic synthesis (they are allowed to reveal the contradictions of globalization), a graphical method (used for visual representation of the functioning of price mechanisms to ensure the competitiveness of agriculture), statistical methods (to determine the status and trends of prices of basic agricultural commodity groups), expert assessments ( identify priority areas to ensure the competitiveness of domestic agriculture) and others. The total economic effect from implementation is 35 220 UAH. Theoretical results are used in research Uman State Pedagogical University named after Pavlo Tychyna, teaching and thematic plans disciplines "Economic Analysis", "Business Economics", "Organization for the agricultural units".
