In our report we give the results concerning the concept of formation of cross-border biosphere reserves on that basis. We consider the concepts of "biotopes" and their role in the conservation of biotic and landscape diversity. As a model of the future bilateral cross-border biosphere reserve we regard the opportunity for the creation of joint Ukrainian-Byelorussian reserve within the area of ancient Prypyat valley. The given results meet the modern level of research in the current scientific field.
