Aim of the study - to improve the results of surgical treatment of symptomatic epilepsy by applying the optimal neurosurgical methods taking into account clinical presentation and lesion's features. In study were enrolled 352 patients who underwent different neurosurgical interventions. We detached factors which influence on severity of psychiatric disturbances. Degree of decrease of psychical abnormalities depends from controlling the seizures after surgery. Scientific novelty - appropriate application of different methods in epilepsy surgery lead to effective control for epileptic seizures and improve quality of life.
