Theoretical and practical results - the use of modern diagnostic and therapeutic technologies can improve outcomes in patients with tumors of the functionally important areas of the brain by minimizing the risk of postoperative motor disturbances and improve the postoperative quality of life in patients with brain tumors. Scientific novelty of the work lies in the fact that the use of a diagnostic complex neuroimaging techniques using the capabilities of MRI and combined CT-MRI, SPECT-MRI, fMRI-MRI and neuronavigation allows non-invasively to determine the relationship of the tumor with functionally important structures of the brain to carry out mapping of the cortex and the subsequent introduction of the data the navigation operating system. This allows to determine the extent of the risk of neurological deficit, to plan surgical tactics, to optimize the surgical approach, to conduct intraoperative monitoring of surgical procedures at all stages of tumor removal in the preoperative period and to minimize undesirable effects with the surgery, and when they occur in a timely manner to carry out the necessary rehabilitation measures.
