The work purpose – on the basis of the available information to estimate level of climate changes in a southeast part of Ukraine and to spend a complex estimation of influences of climatic changes in territory of Donetsk area. To study possible influence of climatic changes on an economic development of the region, social and ecological aspects. To develop a regional plan of measures on softening of consequences of climate change for their subsequent inclusion in programs of social and economic development of region. Working out stages – basic researches and performance of complex estimations, working out of a regional plan of measures on softening of consequences of climate change for Donetsk area. Research methods – ordering and the analysis of the available information on climate changes in a southeast part of Ukraine, the analysis macro- and microeconomic indicators of development of Donetsk area, studying of scenarios of change of an ecological and social and economic situation, methods of a strategic and complex estimation, working out and approbation of actions for softening of consequences of climate change. The regional plan of measures on softening of consequences of climate change is understood as system of actions politiko-legal, economic, technological, power saving up, information, educational, etc. regulations in sphere of softening of anthropogenous influence on climate changes. The regional plan of measures on softening of consequences of climate change is developed for maintenance safe and a sustainable development of Donetsk area, including economic, ecological and social aspects of development in the conditions of a changing climate and occurrence of corresponding threats and calls. Result of work is the look-ahead data about possible climate changes in territory of Donetsk area, a complex estimation of influences of climatic changes on processes of a social and economic and ecological development of the region, and also action for softening of consequences of climate change. Results of work will be used by working out of programs of social and economic development of region. Scope of results of work – the regional ecological policy concerning climate changes.
