By the methods of optical and electronic microscopy, thermal and dilatometric methods are study phase and structural transformations in afore-mentioned alloys. New experimental data about kinetic of transformation of austenite in steels M74 and 75 ХГСМ grades and about recrystallization of ferrite X70 during controlled roiling are obtained. The particularities of microstructure and surface strengthen of cast-iron rollers by means of plasma heating are shown. The results can be used for improving the technology of thermo hardening of grinding balls, rails, controlled rolling of thick steel sheets, cast-iron rollers of Azovstal steel works and other metallurgical works. That may cause the improvement of quality of metal goods mentioned above.
