Research method. Thermal processes and thermodynamics, theory of chances and mathematical statistics were used in the theoretical researches. The results of experimental researches were got by standard and specially equipment and rigging, strain measurement methods with used the modern computers and programs. Introduction of results. On the basis of multivariable experiment were design the mathematical models for determination of parameters of the friction hardening of machine details with the purpose of their optimization.
