Research aim - improvement of the technical-and-economic characteristics of the rotation drive for an automatic concrete mixer. Analysis of the development and current technical level of the hydraulic drive for technological machines has been carried out. Capacity regulators of axial-pistons variable pumps in modern hydraulic drives are considered. New control system design for the axial-piston variable pump with a combined capacity regulator is presented. It provides pump flow stabilization as well as constant-power mode of the pump operation. A combined capacity regulator of the axial-piston pump is designed and its prototype is developed. Rotation hydraulic drive circuit of the mixing drum on the basis of axial-piston variable pump with the combined regulator has been modernized. An expected economic effect from the mixing drum modernization is calculated. Results of the research work are implemented through modernization of the rotation drive for a mixing drum of the automatic concrete mixer. Suppositional predictions as to the research object development - search for optimal technical-and-economic characteristics of the mixing drum rotation hydraulic drive using variable axial-piston pump with the combined capacity regulator.
