The dynamic displacements and stresses in an infinite solid with a spherical elastic inclusion caused by elastic wave propagation are studied. The initial problem is reduced to a system of boundary integral equations relative to the contact displacements and tractions on the surface of junction of inclusion with matrix. By numerical solution of equations the influence of propagation direction wave frequency on the actual physical parameters is analyzed depending in elastic characteristics of the composite components. The dynamic influence of a spherical inclusion on a penny-shaped crack the faces of which are under time-harmonic loads is studied. The system of connected six boundary integral equations for displacements and three boundary integral equations for tractions relative to contact displacements and tractions and also for displacements of the crack opening in the frequency domain is derived. The influences of frequency, the materials combination for matrix-inclusion and crack-inclusion configurations on the distribution of dynamic stress intensity factors of three modes along the crack front are analyzed.
