The purpose of the research is to form scientifically methodical principles of the estimation of investment appeal of economic sectors. The methods of the research are: generalization, the analysis and synthesis, comparison, the system approach, grouping, the factorial analysis, expert interrogation. Scientific positions and methodical recommendations on the estimation of investment appeal of economic sectors (kinds of economic activities) were developed. Their approbation was passed in three stages by calculating pair correlation of "entrance" data, comparing ranking values, combined integral and checking parameters, and also defining the correlation factor between the last ones. Results of the research will be used by during definition of the rating estimation of investment appeal of national economic sectors, preparation of the administrative decisions, which will be directed to the providing investment for priority sectors.
