The purpose of work - development of scientific bases, definitions of optimum technological parameters and kinetic characteristics of the process. Method of research - studying theoretical and experimental basic laws and it’s generalization. Confirmation of the possible formation silicon carbide during thermal processing a rice husk and definition of conditions and optimum technological parameters of process, is carried out as a result of the thermodynamic researches analyses. Necessity of preliminary mechanical, chemical and thermal preparation of initial raw material was shown before a final stage of carbidisation. During experimental researches conditions of carrying out thermomechanical destruction raw material was determined, kinetic of chemical and thermal transformations was investigated for maintenance of necessary ratio SiO2/C before stage of silicon carbide synthesis. It is shown, that the stage of carbidisation should be passed in the inert environment of argon. Experimentally silicon carbide samples of technical qualification and materials of high purity were obtained from rice husk. Results of researches can be used by develop manufacturing technology of silicon carbide from rice husk. Branch of using: production of other chemical products for industrial of non-metallic wastes and crow-bar; production of heat-resistant ceramic products.
