In the scientific-research work: prospects of cooperation between Ukraine and EU in the field of sector budget support programs are defined, that account the priorities of the European Neighborhood and Partnership Instrument; international experience of the EU sector budget support programs implementation in the countries EU-non members is presented; problems related to preparation and implementation of the EU sector budget support programs in Ukraine are described; proposals for co-ordination of the sector budget support programs and with Ukrainian programming and forecasting documents that concerns economic development on the whole and development of the certain branches of the economy are elaborated; proposals for accounting and reporting of the sector budget support programs in the State budget of Ukraine are substantiated; proposals for improving of the control, monitoring and evaluation of the EU sector budget support programs in Ukraine are elaborated. Report on the scientific-research work can be used in the practical work of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine related to preparation of the legislative acts and program documents.
