The object of the research is the development of innovative activity in Ukraine. In the course of the research it has been obtained a number of results that are of scientific as well as of practical value: - It has been grounded that the main precondition for the innovative development of economy in Ukraine is to provide price stability that facilitates the growth of supply of the investment resources and results in reduction of costs through the optimal monetary regime - the inflation targeting regime. - Having learned the national and foreign experience it has been generalized the key mechanisms of the monetary impact on the development of economy by central bank that can be applied for effective stimulation of the investment processes in Ukraine. - It has been further developed the system of measures as for forming the communication strategy, aimed at increasing transparency of the monetary policy of the central bank within applying the inflation targeting regime. - It has been further developed the system of instruments of crisis management by banking sector, aimed at counteracting the influence of destabilizing factors and enhancing the stability of banking sector, which includes: financial instruments (refinancing, decreasing of required reserves, regulation of discount rate, conversion of tax liabilities), operational tools (restructuring of problem debts, the use of bond instruments, conversion of debt in bank's capital), structural instruments (the closure of unprofitable branches, increasing of competitive advantages, twinning, liquidation, merger and reorganization of banks).
