The object of the research is the complex of the financial-and-economic banks' relations on the credit and deposit markets. The methods of the research: dialectical logic, structural, functional and contingency analysis, the unity of the theoretical and the empirical, the dialectic of the general and particular, the interdisciplinary approach, the statistic comparative analysis, the system analysis and fusion, the diagnostic methods (the expert estimation, the generalization) and other methods of the scientific cognition of the interconnection and interdependence of the objective reality. The main results and their practical significance: - the theoretical aspects of the banks' activity on the credit and deposit markets are researched; - the influence of the economic and market instruments on the banking deposit policy formation are qualified; - the legal bases of the bank's credit and deposit policy are generalized; - the role of the economic indicators in the system of the complex diagnosis of the efficiency of the banking system functioning; their place in the system of the banking activity's regulation and control are defined; - the methodical approaches to the enucleating of the operational, credit and the risk of the bank's reputation are improved, that was made by the development of the approach for the banking regional departments' plan defining; - the theoretical aspects of the process of the bank's competitiveness providing have found forward scientific development.
