N. Sokolovski" popup.description2 The object of investigation - the content of mobile forms of heavy metals in soils, heavy metal content in plant material. Objective - development of quantitative diagnostic man-made pollution on the basis of a revised and supplemented methodology, development of proposals for guidance on determining the extent of soil contamination with heavy metals. Investigation methods - universal scientific methods, the methods of theoretical analysis, system and an ecosystem approach - to use an improved methodology to soil groups of different buffering capacity to heavy metals, comparative analysis - to argue the benefits of using specific criteria for evaluation of soil contamination with heavy metals; program method - to justify the methodological approaches to the development of proposals for guidance on evaluating the extent of soil contamination with heavy metals. Results - a methodology for predicting soil contamination with heavy metals is developed. It is based on statistical models of time series. Booklet "Techniques of determination heavy metals mobile forms in soils for ecological rate setting" is prepared in which the published data and results of own investigations concerning techniques of heavy metals mobile forms extraction from calcareous and non-calcareous soils are generalized. Criteria of suitability of heavy metals mobile forms extraction techniques for ecological rate setting is grounded. The guidance "Determination the degree of soil pollution by fixed forms of cadmium, nickel and lead". The draft guidance contains acceptable levels of these elements content in the soils depending on the types of grown crop production (separately proposed regulations the maximum content and rating scales for vegetable crops, for grain, for forage crops, root crops and for coarse and succulent fodder). The document proposed grading for soils with medium and high buffering capacity on the content fixed forms of cadmium, nickel and lead, and the scale for estimating the degree of soil pollution by these parameters (for different crops). Efficiency - investigation make possible to obtain plant growing production agreeable to current sanitary and hygienic regulation. Document is acceptable to the soil for agricultural purposes. Field of application is agriculture.
