The objective was to determine the natural agricultural regions for assessing their productivity and further development of agricultural production. Theoretical and practical results: in the territory of Ukraine five natural agricultural regions were delineated: the Forest-steppe, Northern Steppe, Southern Steppe, Subcarpathian, Transcarpathian, that allowed to establish the most rational requirements for crops cultivation and preservation of soil fertility. The novelty of research was that the schematic map of regions and the list of territories by administrative regions were composed. It is designed for planning and organization of agricultural production, determining its specialization, for mobilization and efficient land use. The scope of use is agriculture.
