The infrared spectra database will allow speeding up and optimising the semiprecious stones identification; definition of the semiprecious stones synthetic analogues and imitations on the higher quality level and also the artificial enhancements of the stones on the basis of the comparison of the mineral spectra in question with the infrared spectra database. The results of the work will be applied in the SGCU for the semiprecious stones identification and diagnostics, scientific-technical expert examination of higher complexity, and in scientific works.
