A number of new problems of elasticity theory and fracture mechanics are solved by the developed uniform approach to the determination of the stress distribution near the sharp and rounded V-shaped notches. The solutions of elastic interaction of closely located holes (elliptical, oval and rhombic) and physical cracks are obtained for symmetric loading of the body. The interaction of an infinite V-shaped notch with a crack, hole or inclusion under antiplane strain is investigated on the basis of the method proposed by the authors work.
