The new electric arc spray coatings and compositional electrochemical coatings, which increase in 2-5 times the resistance of light alloys to corrosion and mechanical wear, were developed. It was firstly established that chromate conversion films, highly efficient electrochemical corrosion inhibitors, negatively affect the corrosion wear resistance of aluminum alloys. Phosphate films, which deposition in the tribocontact zone are synergistically accelerated by mechanical activation, increase the corrosion wear resistance of aluminum alloy.
