The object for development is a sphere of innovation and scientific-technical activity in Luhansk region. The purpose of the work - formation of regional information sources for the scientific- technical and innovation activity and creation of the information and analytical system for solving the regional scientific and technical problems, development of innovation, investment activity in the region. According to the results of the applied development "Development of the methodical and technological principles of formation and usage of regional information sources for the scientific-technological and innovation activity in Luhansk region" the regional information sources of the Center for technical and economical information of LTSNU were fulfilled and updated, such as: the information fund with the appropriate information searching apparatus as cards and catalogues, the corporate database: "Scientific and technical achievements of Ukraine", "The electronic catalogues of publications of NTI", "Ukrainian enterprises: addresses and nomenclature". The interregional interchange of the generated information sources that allowed to create the distributed information fund was provided. The generated information sources aimed at the detailed information supplying of the inculcating process of the scientific and technical achievements, the progressive industrial experience by the subjects of the scientific-technical and innovation activity and also realizing the complex information supplying of the enterprises, organizations and establishments of Ukraine during all cycles of their activity, effective and qualitative performance of important tasks of the state level.
