Research goal: to show the psychological pre-conditions of integration of Russian speaking community in the modern Ukrainian society. To define the psychological factors of upgrading the role of education as a provider of integration processes. To work out the means of positive psychological influence on the state of mass consciousness in the Russian speaking environment. Research methods: theoretical analysis and generalization, the expert evaluations, the psycho-semantic questionings, focus-groups, the model design, methods of mathematical statistics, socio-psychological training. Theoretical and practical results: It is found a number of socio-psychological factors of integration of Russian speaking community in the modern Ukrainian society: actualization of identification as an answer to social questioning; the avoidance of the direct contrast between Ukrainian and Russian identities; the experience of real or unreal (imaginary) threats to the defined identity; adaptively-defensive role in the ethno-political self-determination; an attempt to combine orientations on Russian cultural values and on Ukrainian communicative reality; consideration of the civil value priorities before the ethnic ones; the consideration of education as an instrumental value; the orientation on the social-status obtainment; avoidance or acceptance of destructive influence; mythological consideration of socio-political information. The research novelty lies in the determination of socio-psychological aspects of main tendencies of collective self-identification of Russian speaking community. The effectiveness of the introduction of research: the results of the research are shown in the 75 scientific publications, taking part in the scientific conferences, seminars, round tables, introduced to mass media sources, as a constitutional part of the socio-psychological disciplines in eight high level accreditation schools (universities, institutes), in the social programs of resocialization of the underage prisoners.
