Aim of research is to develop biological conservative on the basis of hay meal from thistle Carduns acanthoides (L) for fodder ensilage; to investigate biochemical and technological indices of quality of new varieties of fodder crops of Agropyrum cristatum (L.), (Agropyrum intermedium (Host) P. B. Methods of research are generally accepted zootechnical, biochemical, biometric. Biological conservative on the basis of hay meal from thistle Carduns acanthoides (L) is developed. Its application at the rate of 2,5 mass % provides high aerobic resistance of silage and grain-haylage to refermentation under condition of depressurization of storehouse and in farm animal feeding at the temperature of the environment of +20-+30 оС. Feeding of such silage helps to increase productivity of fodder in the diet by 6,5%. Method of ensilage of perennial grasses at the ratio 1:1 with drought resistant cereal grasses of Agropyrum cristatum (L.) та (Agropyrum intermedium (Host) P. B.) is worked out. This method of conservation of ensilaging fodders is safe for environment, health and animals. It is recommended for application in agroformations of different ownership forms specializing in milk and beef production.
