The aim of research is to improve food value of fodders and fodder raw materials to define critical factors in pig feeding, to develop new full-ration and balancing mixtures taking into account indicies of availability and metabolism of basic and biologically active substances. A series of balance experiment, carried out on various age groups of pigs with life weight 40-100 kg were analysed. Rations were developed according to prescribed normatives of feeding with different correlation of fodders, fodder raw materials and balancing additives. As a result average per day weight growth of pigs was 275-1150g per head per day. The experiments carried out give scientific information for developing concentrated combined fodders and balancing mixtures, which allow to raise productive effect of rations. Long scientific investigations on the basic of pig-raising complex "Rus", Cherkassy region, were carried out. Chemical, mineral and aminoacid composition and food value of a new fodder additive - corn meal with high content of protein - was examined. For fodder product, which is called "High-protein corn meal" technical terms are developed. Mixtures of aminoacids contributing to protein value of fodder additives are prepared. Branch standard "Fodders for animals, raw materials for full-ration mixtures production. High-protein corn meal" COY 15.71-37-31114672714 : 2008. Feeding pigs withhigh-protein corn meal raises average per day weight growth on 8%, and BMVA, prepared on the basis of corn meal increases average per day weight growth on 16%.
