Aim of research is recombination of the genes of adaptability and resistance for breeding and estimation of the initial material with the revealing of sources and donors of the corresponding characteristics with further use in the breeding process when breeding high productive varieties with corresponding parameters of the food and fodder purpose, better adapted to local conditions of cultivation, the seed of which is characterized by high fodder and food qualities. Methods of research are field experiment, genetic analysis, morphometric, biochemical and statistical analysis on the basis of generally accepted and special techniques in breeding and seed production, plant cultivation, biochemistry and modified by us in approach to soybean. Nearly 19000 numbers are studied, soybean hybridization in 221 combinations is carried out and hybrids in 199 combinations are obtained. With the help of saturating crossings hybrids are obtained and combinations characterized by high economic characteristics including increased content of crude protein and fat are selected for further breeding. In all breeding nurseries perspective breeding numbers of soybean that correspond parameters of the future variety, the seed yield of which has been 25,3-35,2 centners per ha that is 0-9,9 centners per ha more that in the standard and the duration of vegetative period of 110-124 days that is 1-6 days less than in the standard are selected. Soybean hybridization in 221 combinations is carried out and hybrids in 199 combinations are obtained. Varieties Vezha (АС № 10126) and Vinni (АС № 10127) submitted by us for the state trial in 2006 are registered in the State Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine for 2010. Soybean variety Khutoryanochka (application № 07018006) bred by the Feed Research Institute was submitted for the state trial in 2007. By the resolution of State Commission it was registered in the State Register of Plant Varieties suitable for cultivation in Ukraine for 2011. Scientific theoretical elaborations are used by the Ukrainian scientists-agrarians and practical results are introduced in agro-formations of different ownership forms.
