Aim of research is to breed new varieties of faba beans on the basis of selection from the new breeding materials by the parameters of the future variety using a field experiment, hybridological, morphometric, biochemical and statistical methods on the basis of generally accepted and special techniques of genetics and plant breeding. According to results the competitive variety trial two numbers (5006 and 5010) that exceeded the standard (variety Vizyr) by the seed productivity for 3,4 and 5,1 centners per ha correspondingly have been selected. Research of these numbers is going to be continued. Breeding number 5010 is planned to be submitted for submission for the state trial. Faba bean variety Peremozhets bred by Feed Research Institute in cooperation with Colomya SS of Ivano-Frankivsk I APV of NAASby the method individual selection from mutant population of the variety Prykarkatski 4 since 2008 is registered in the Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine (author's certificate - № 08152). Scientific theoretical elaborations are used by the Ukrainian scientists-agrarians and practical results are introduced in agroformations of different ownership forms.
