Aim of research is to study the mechanism of the display of abortiveness of bean-elements when forming faba bean productivity and on its basis improve existing and develop new adaptive cultivation technologies in conditions of the Forest-Steppe of Ukraine. Methods of research are field, visual, measuring-weighting, quantitative, method of monoliths, physiological, method of the trial sheaf, laboratory, calculative-comparative, mathematic-statistic. Phenomenon of abortiveness of bean-elements is substantiated theoretically and ways of faba bean production process management are shown. On this basis adaptive technology of faba bean cultivation is developed. It provides seed yield of 4,5-5,0 t/ha, crude protein yield of 1,4-1,5 t/ha and reduction of energy consumption by 15-20 % in conditions of the Forest-Steppe of Ukraine. Introduction is carried out in agroformations of different ownership forms of Khmelnytsky region on the territory of 217 ha. The field of use is agriculture.
