Using of Hsp70 as a biomarker is based on that it is a high conservative protein and a component of stress responses practically of all organisms to unfavorable factors of different nature. 9 species from 7 families of angiosperms plants, various on their ecology, in particular with the different requirements for water supplying, were selected for method development. The tested plants were affected by water deficit, flooding and heat stress in nature or in the experiments. Hsp70 was detected in leaves using Western-blotting that has been proved to be informative and correct. The obtained data confirmed the possibility of using antibodies specific to the conservative Hsp70 sequence to analyze different angiosperms species. The Hsp70 level in plant organs (particularly, leaves) has been shown to be able an integral indicator of the plant state and tolerance range under the influence of unfavorable environmental factors. Thus, the Hsp70 level measurement in plants can be effective for monitoring of plants in natural environment, introduced plants and agricultural crops. Practical instructions on the method using were prepared.
