Objective: To increase the percentage of protected areas by identifying quasinatural landscapes and their inclusion in the ecological network of Ukraine. Methods: The theoretical - abstraction, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, modeling and forecasting, the study of literature is scientific justification for the creation of protected sites; empirical - observation, comparison, experiments, expeditions, sampling and testing, a set of field studies, mapping. Means: geodetic instruments, devices for measuring radioactivity, photo-and video equipment, computers, vehicles, maps, scientific and reference literature. Scientific novelty: the identification and bio-geographical study of landscapes quasinatural central part of Ukraine will make it possible to include such territory in the ecological network in Ukraine, which will ensure continued normal functioning of natural-territorial complexes. Results: defended doctoral dissertation of S.V. Sovgira "Theoretical and methodological basis for the formation of environmental vision of the future teachers in higher educational institutions" (13.00.04 - Theory and Methods of Professional Education), monitored the biological diversity of landscapes quasinatural Cherkasy, Vinnitsa and Nikolaev regions to examine the contemporary landscape structure of the river-bed of the Southern Buh; carried cadastre rare and endangered species of flora and fauna; conducted mapping perspective quasinatural protected landscapes.
