The classification schemes of these classes are developed and the characteristics of syntaxons are resulted. For the first time the materials on vegetation's syntaxonomy of Ukraine developed on ecology-floristic principles have been critically reconsidered and analysed. The classification scheme and the Prodrome of vegetation of Ukraine have been constructed. It unites 931 associations which belong to 226 unions, 113 orders and 67 classes. The characteristic of syntaxons is given on the uniform sample. For each of them have been resulted the valid and synonymic names, diagnostic species with authors, conditions of habitat, distribution in Ukraine, synsozological status of communities and literature. The authors of syntaxons are given according to the International Code of the phytosociological nomenclature. The synonymic names have the references to the corresponding Code's article.
