To assess the influence of instability of solar radiation on the work processes were carried out temperature measurements in the middle of the reactor during periods of unstable clouds of heaven with the computer recording of the thermocouple indication. The conclusions regarding the feasibility of a system of compensation deficit of solar energy were proposed. Techno-economic evaluation showed that the use of hydrogen in the process of waste slag instead of iron powder can reduce the cost of supplies in 13, 3 times. A schematic diagram of a pilot solar installation for the production of hydrogen and of other technological studies of heat capacity of about 80-100 kW was developed.
