It was found that mono- and bis-carbene Сu (I) complexes as well as biscarbene Ni complexes appeared to be effective catalysts of hydride ion trans-fer from isopropanol to multiple bonds (С=О, С=NR). The first stable adduct of biscarbene of macrocyclic series and pyridine, polymeric carbene complex of planar imidazo[4,5-d]imidazol-2,5-diylidene with copper (I) chloride were synthesized. The structures of the synthesized compounds were confirmed by the study of their spectral characteristics (1Н and 13С ЯМР spectra) and analytical data. The biological activity prediction of the synthesized carbenoid com-pounds via the PASS program showed peculiarly high probabilities of antiviral, spasmolytic, antigystamine activities.
