It is established that the main peculiarity of the spatial structure of the secular variation in the European area at the end of XX st. is a availability of the regional focuses at the eastern (X,Y - components) and northern-eastern (Z = component) Europe. At the beginning of the XXI st. (2000-2005 y.) this focuses was disappears. The electronic data base system (the main control program and electronic catalog) was created for the annual mean values of the components of the geomagnetic field and for the secular variation data at the world wide network of the magnetic observatories. Also the program for the modeling of the secular variation anomalies from the sources of the dipole type was developed. At the Carpathian part of the Ukrainian Repeat Stations network were done the experimental measurements and the maps of the components of the geomagnetic field were constructed for the area of the western Ukraine.
