The aim of study is to develop methods and investigation of nonlinear vibrations of the elements of power equipment. We are developing advanced analytical and numerical methods of nonlinear dynamics such as the Bubnov-Galerkin method, nonlinear normal modes of vibration, the method of multiple scales, harmonic balance method, the method of continuation of solutions. In this paper we solved a major scientific and technical problem which consists in studying the dynamic loading of the elements of power equipment, development of more accurate nonlinear models of vibration, as well as lowering the level of dynamic loading of power equipment.
