Goal: To improve methods of creating and identifying introgressive forms of wheat with the purpose of determining on theis base sources of agronomic traits and studying their donor properties. Methods: cytological, morphological, testing agronomic traits: producrivity, resistance against phytopathogenes, frost tolerance, grain quality.Тheoretical and practical results. During 2006–2010 273 combinations of wide crosses based on winter wheat and 57 ones based on spring wheat have been performad. Annualy testing of cytological stability for F1 and F2 hybrid plants by sterility-fertility of pollen has been carried out. Features of behaviour of chromosomes in meiosis F1 of hybrids betwee bread wheat and synthetic amphiploids have been researched. The electrophoretic analysis of l winter wheat lines developed on the basis of rwide crosses, has revealed a wide spectrum of variability for gliadin alleles, presence of the original loci, probably introduced in their genome from wild and cultivated relatives. Investigation of interaction pattern between bread wheat genomes and natural and artificial species involved into crosses promotes improvement of methods of creation and identification of wheat introgressive lines. Wheat introgressive forms including integrated genetic material from related species are prospective for wheat improvement via breeding. Efficiency of adoption and field of use: Develored introgressive lines possessing improve productivity, complex disease resistance and high indices of grain and flour quality have been using in breeding programs of the Institute as sources and donors of valuable traits.
