Determination of high cobalt content. Potentiometric titration method after separation in ion exchange; ІSO/TR 15349-3:1998 Unalloyed steel. Determination of low carbon content. Part 3. Infrared absorption method after combustion in an electric resistance furnace (with preheating); ІSO 15355:1999 Steel and iron. Determination of chromium content. Titration method; ІSO 17053:2005 Steel and iron. Determination of oxygen content. Infrared absorption method after fusion under inert gas; ІSO/TR 17055:2002 Steel. Determination of silicon content. Inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometric method. The developed projects were agreed with the corresponding organizations and submitted for public examination. The developed national standards are applied in Ukraine for the first time. The standards completely correspond with international standards ISO. Application of the developed national standards will promote elimination of technical and trading barriers between Ukraine and foreign countries, speed process of integration of the country into the European Community, increase efficiency of cooperation with the World Trading Organization.
