Purpose of research - study the mechanism of interaction of Chaetomium cochliodes 3250 with higher plants. The methods of investigations were: agrochemical, microbiological, physiological, phytopathology and mathematic statistics. It was studied the mechanizm of interaction between Chaetomium cochliodes 3250 and agricultural plants. It was revealed that Chaetomium cochliodes 3250 is able to form close relationships with plants of winter rye, spring wheat, soybean and sunflower. It facilitates the absorption of trace elements from soil, produces phytohormones of different classes and increases the number of bacteria in root zone increasing N2-fixing process.
