On the base of historical scientific analysis of the veterinary parasitology development in Kharkiv region, and using system, cognitive, structural-functional methodological approaches, there has been formed conception of Kharkiv scientific-educational center on veterinary parasitology as system formation, which combines cognitive component (substantial aspect of veterinary parasitology, namely, helminthology, arachnoentomology, protozoology, research methods, etc.), structural-functional component (organizational structures and their functions), social-communicative component (research associations, publications, different forms of formal and informal interaction of researchers). As a result of investigations there has been published monograph “Formation and activity of Kharkiv research-educational center on veterinary parasitology (the end of ХІХ – the beginning of ХХІ century)”.
