Object of research - veterinary parasitology in Kharkiv Region. The job purpose - to investigate development stages and progress of veterinary parasitology in Kharkiv Region. On the base of historical scientific analysis of the veterinary parasitology development in Kharkiv region, and using system, cognitive, structural-functional methodological approaches, there has been formed conception of Kharkiv scientific-educational center on veterinary parasitology as system formation, which combines cognitive component (substantial aspect of veterinary parasitology, namely, helminthology, arachnoentomology, protozoology, research methods, etc.), structural-functional component (organizational structures and their functions), social-communicative component (research associations, publications, different forms of formal and informal interaction of researchers). As a result of investigations there has been published monograph “Formation and activity of Kharkiv research-educational center on veterinary parasitology (the end of ХІХ – the beginning of ХХІ century)”.
