Purpose of work - to study biological peculiaritues and changeability of the agents of the main infectious and parasitic fish diseases with further use of obtained data for the development of diagnostic and prevetive means. Methods of investigations - biological, molecular-genetic, bacteriological, parasitological, serological, epizootological, toxiclogical, ichthyological. Investigations have been conducted in the conditions of the Laboratory of ichtyopathology, Laboratory for molecular epizootology and diagnostics, biotechnology department, Laboratory of General virology, Department of toxicology, safety and quality of agricultural products, experimental base of the NSC "IECVM" and piscicultural farms of the Northern-Eastern region of Ukraine. As a result of conducted investigations we have studied peculiarities of main infectious and parasitic fish diseases' agents circulation in the conditions of water reservoirs with different level of antropogenic stress. Biological, morphological, antigenic characteristics and molecular-genetic peculiarities of the agents of the main infectious and parasitic diseases have been studied. Pharmacokinetics and influence of therapeutic chemical preparations on the parasites and on the host organism have been studied. Microorganism strain has been received. There has been developed conception of long term epizootological monitoring of natural seats of opisthorchidosis invasions, of the methods of aeromonosis, pseudomonosis agents identification, of the methods of reception and cultivation of the cells for fish viral diseases diagnostics,of the methods of opistorchida, aeromonada molecular-genetic identification, methodological recommendations on diagnostics, treatment and prevention of fish parasitic diseases in the aquaculture, methodological recommendations on diagnostics, treatment and prevention of fish infectious diseases in the aquaculture.
