Following factors forming non compliance were established: absence of symptoms, cognitive problems, anticipation of adverse reactions and refractory to medicaments , financial aspects. There are some differences in non compliance in residents of towns and agriculture regions. The data obtained give options for optimization pharmacotherapy in elderly hypertensive patients.
