The results of the works: 1) new algorithms of nonsmooth optimization are developed and numerically studied (Fejer type subgradient methods with transformation of space, new modification of ellipsoid method, modification of epsilon-subgradient algorithm with transformation of space, which provides a solution for the problem with a prescribed accuracy); 2) New sequential and parallel algorithms for solving special convex and discrete optimization problems based on GRP and RESTART technologies are developed; corresponding software is developed (with the use of r-algorithm, nonsmooth penalty functions, multistart, GRP and RESTART technologies); 3) families of polyhedra for finding an upper approximation to boolean and binary quadratic polytope are built, they are used for finding new LP-bounds for the maximum independent set number in a graph.
