The main reaction products are acetoxybenzyl acetates. It is shown, that in the presence of manganous bromide catalyst the oxidation rate increases almost twice but the required concentration of manganous acetate (II) decreases, and acetoxybenzylidene diacetates are produced as the main reaction products.
