Journalism Department popup.description2 The crystal structure, magnetization and electrical resistivity of 22 alloys R0,85Y0,15Ni2 and RNi1,85Fe0,15 (R=Gd, Er); YCo3-xVx and YCo2-xVx (x=0,1 and 0,2), ErFe1.85V0.15 and ErFe0.975Co0.975V0.15 and their saturated hydrides have been investigated . All investigated compounds and alloys can easily absorb hydrogen up to 3.2-3.9 at.H/f.u. The intermetallic compounds YCo3-xVx , YCo2-xVx (x=0,1 and 0,2) and their hydrides show ferromagnetic behaviour. All investigated compounds show a metallic-like conductivity.
