The optimal concentration of gold NP (5 mol.%) in the films leading to the increase of photocatalytic activity and responding for homogeneous distribution of NP onto the film surface was determined. The synthesized films doped with gold NP showed the increased photocatalytic activity in the process of Rhodamine B photooxidation due to the effective charge separation as electrons were accumulated by gold NP leading to the fall in electron-hole recombination in nanocomposite bulk NP-NP. Sol-gel synthesis of titanium dioxide on the inner membrane surface of anodic alumina allowed to obtain the effective photocatalysts in the processes of dye degradation in aquatic medium.
