Subject of investigation: Methods, Models and algorithms for motion detection, color segmentation, detection and tracking faces in videostream Aim: The project aims to create high-speed and reliable IP video surveillance system that can detect and track faces. This system is designed to moni-tor crowded places, access control, database maintenance employees and business visitors and others. Particular at-tention should be given video surveillance system in our time, characterized by increasing efforts to combat terrorism. Methods: Methods of system analysis, image processing methods and the theory of artificial neural networks, meth-ods of mathematical statistics, methods for object-oriented modeling and programming. Results and novelty: In the implementation of scientific and technical work were obtained the following main results, which reflect the scientific novelty of the work: 1. An adaptive model update the background image depending on whether the current pixel be-longs to background or foreground, which allowed to detect movement in the frame for a long time and changes in lighting. 2. Received further development of a method of detecting faces in color images by using the combined neu-ral network classifiers cascade to detect faces-level candidates based on skin color segmentation in two color spaces, resulting in improved speed and accuracy of detecting faces. 3. The method of training sample convolutional neural network by considering the adaptive correlation of positive / negative training examples (images faces/notfaces), re-sulting in improved accuracy of the classification of positive examples. 4. Face tracking algorithm based on Kalman filter.
