For the leadthrough of researches the following equipment was used: biochemical and immunofermentative analyzers, ultrasound scanner.Established that hyperuricemia in patients with arterial hypertension associated with the components of metabolic syndrome: impaired glucose tolerance, hyperinsulinemia,combined dislipoproteinemia. Patients of arterial hypertension with hyperuricemia in comparison with the patients of arterial hypertension with normouricaemia differed for certain more high values of mass of body , index of mass of body, volume of waist, by greater frequency of abdominal obesity. It was established the interrelation between the level of hyperuricemia and heart rate, left ventricular hypertrophy and the degree of heart failure.
