Purpose of the studies: isolations highly effective strains of nodule bacteria of soybean and chickpea adapted to the local soil - climatic conditions, optimization of symbiotic nitrogen fixation in the agrocеnosis and develop the biological technology of legumes planting in Steppe zone. Methods: microbiological, biochemical, physical-chemical (colorimetric method, gaschromatography), methods of light microscopy, the methods of vegetation and field tests, economic analysis, a statistical method. Highly effective strains Bradyrhіzobіum japonіcum 36 и Mesorhіsоbіum cіcerі Н-12, 065 in symbiosis with majority of up-to-date chickpea and soybean cultivars have been isolated. There are patents of the Ukraine for two strains. Have solved the actual problem comparatively of biologization of agrotechnology of legumes cultivation. The biotechnologies of production is designed on the base of the strategies of the joint using biopreparations with microorganisms of polyfunctional action for increasing of the seed productivity of these cultures and the potential symbiotic nitrogen fixation in agrocenosis of the Steppe of Ukraine.
